This series of sculptures is comprised of various undergarments fabricated in clay. The pieces are carved with images and/or text, creating narratives mostly on the themes of love and gender roles, and then are mounted as “specimens” to be examined by the viewer.

My primary goals with this series are to create objects which are intriguing to look at and invoke humor, while making subtle (and sometimes not so subtle) commentary on issues central to our identities as humans.
